No need to say that copying content from other websites or blogs is a very bad habit, but unfortunately some people still copying content and waste their important piece of time. I have seen many reports, saying that your content is copied from your website and posted on other websites, but I am a Human and can’t spend my time to look after who is copying my content and tell to Google or blogspot as well as web hosting companies. I got tired after reporting hundreds of sites/blogs previously, then I tried to find a way to stop peoples from copying my posts or content.
Since I am using WordPress, I succeeded to find a solution for this issue in the form of WordPress plugin, I tried many plugins for this issue, and finally I got some best plugins and thought to share with you so you can also protect your content from peoples who are copying your content without your permission.
How to Protect WordPress Site/Blog Text?
As I told you above, I have found some very easy and important solutions for WordPress blogs in the shape of WordPress plugins, and now I am going to tell how you can install these plugins and get rid of copycats, at least you can easily protect your content from newbies who just use their mouse to copy your article and paste it on their own blogs. By doing this, they make a duplicate copy of your content which is not good for them and also for you in terms of SEO. It’s also create some issues for your website SEO.
Copy Protection WordPress Plugins
I used most popular two plugins for this issue and both of them worked great for me, but now I am using a better and simple one on my blog, so I will tell you the whole setting of that, you can use any plugin from these two. You can easily find these two plugins just by searching their names in your WordPress plugin store.
- WP Site Protector
- WP-copyright-protection
After making changes, just click on “Save Changes” and you are all done with the settings.
I published this post on the basis of many requests, many peoples are worried for their hard work and saying that, we are giving many hours to write an article and people just copy it in a few seconds, so I thought to tell you this trick to get rid from copycats.
